Why be a part of a community?
What does "community" mean?
A community is a gathering of people to share in an aspect of the human experience. There are many different types of communities. What I see in our world today, as I travel, is a longing by everyone I meet to be a part of something greater than themselves.
Our world is filled with so much information that our brain is on overload. There's no place for your brain to rest. It is important, to live a long and healthy life, to have connection with other people of like mind.
We are all scattered around the globe searching for those people who will know and understand us in a deep way. Many times the people in our immediate community - meaning the people immediately around us in the neighborhoods we live - are not necessarily the people who resonate with us in a particular interest. So, we now have sub-communities where we have an opportunity to make friends, learn about one another, and share in our common interest.
If you have come to Living in Radiance, you are a person looking for a community of people on the journey to self-awareness. Our community site is a place for you to begin to meet people and to connect, play and have fun.
Thank you for joining us as we expand our family in the light.
